AAM AUTOCROSS 2008 [Album]

3rd_Prize.jpg (319577 bytes)Congratulations... to PCM that conquered the 3rd place in Class 6 category (from 1801cc to 2000cc) at Shah Alam AAM AUTOCROSS 2008 last Sunday. 6 "macho" Peugeot cars from Peugeot Club challenged other 4 "Garang" modified Proton GTi, Wira & Putra that competing in this category.

Abruptly with absolute confidence, most of our members took part just for fun, including bro Sultan with his new 407 that dared to race on the track with such style. Moreover, Boy and Abangk tried hard to contribute something for PCM, which finally, they managed to finish all the 9 rounds of 3 session including 1 trail round for each session.

Boy performed very well; unfortunately he made few mistakes thus considered "DNF-WRONG DIRECTION" with penalty of 15 points, as given by the jury. N821715.jpg (1331865 bytes)Boy accumulative score is 213.581 points & Abangk with 211.366 points while the winner smiled with 196.593 points. As on the clock, Boy captured 1 minute and 5.350 secs, Abangk with 1 minute and 8.366secs while the winner ranked as the fastest lap, with 1 minute and 3.665secs.

Overall, this event is perfect for all car enthusiasts to improve ourselves in car-handling and gear-shifting techniques, especially when cruising through sharp corners with maximum speed; a challenge of dare and on applying the emergency braking perfectly.

Thank you to all of the participants and to those who came to give us the moral support.

We shall meet again on the next AAM Autocross event in early December 08.

TT Session at R&R Awan Besar
  [ALBUM] [MAP]

Great to meet few new friends especially Syan206 who was admiring Megat206 car that was converted to 2.0 engine and had a very long chat on how to improve the P1010145.JPG (169164 bytes)performance of his 206. The evening was a bit crowded with full of cars in the parking area. While enjoy chatting, "Lion King" called that his pug radiator hose burst on the way from Rawang and stuck at Bangsar.

Discussed on the trip to Melaka for the Car Show at Jebat Stadium, basically everyone interested to go and to be put up in the forum for further discussion. The chatting was continued on Sate tables until midnight.
